My parents moved to Libby when I was three-years-old. My dad, Delbert, supported the family working as a logger. I attended Libby Public Schools. In high school, I played football and participated in track and field events. After graduating from Libby High School in 1985, I worked for Champion International for two years where I saved enough to put myself through college. I majored in Law Enforcement at North Idaho College.  During this time, I worked as a Reserve Officer for Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department and became a member of David Thompson Search & Rescue. Soon after completing college, I returned to Libby and began working for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. I am married to my wonderful wife, Dallas. We have 5 grown daughters and are raising our 17 year old son, Colter. In 2019 I became a Real Estate agent.
